OrderFried riblets were so good! The sweet and spicy sauce was amazing! Also, their cole slaw is some of the best I've ever tasted, from the dressing to the added cilantro was amazing!
We visited a few months back and had a really good experience. Friendly staff, great ambience, and the food was delicious. It was a last minute decision to stop here and we had our smaller dog with us. We were planning to sit outside even though it was a little chilly...
Had a big party of 8 for a last minute lunch and The Meating Place was a group hit with all of them. Our diverse group included a few food allergies, little people and everyone was able to enjoy their Texas Size lunch. Delicious and Quick turn around on our food. The manager even treated the kids to a cookie for the ride home. We will return when we are in the area again definitely!!
I have a had a fair share of Brisket in my life...being a native Houstonian/Texan and frequenter to the Rodeo Cookoff but the Brisket here was melt in your mouth and on top of that it was packed with flavor. Definitely a hidden gem that also exemplifies what a Texas BBQ should look and feel like. Really enjoyed the small town diner feel with all the authentic Southern Texas charm. 12/10 recommend!
Picked up a to go order for our large family get together and had the best service! So friendly and helpful. They had a drive through which made it easier during the lunch rush. Their bbq is amazing and I will be back... multiple times :)
